Thomas Althoff

Tom Althoff is a retired Chamber of Commerce Executive having spent 15 years as the President/CEO of the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce from1999-2014. During his tenure, he served on the board of the Illinois Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and hosted a state convention. He also served as Vice Chair for Legislative Affairs and Scholarships and Awards.

Since his retirement he worked part-time as the Membership Director for the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce and the Wheaton Chamber. Tom retired from those positions in 2019. Past community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Naperville Education Foundation from 2004-2010, Advisory Board for the College of Business at Benedictine University, Lisle 4th of July Committee, Rotary Club of Lisle President 1992-93 and 2006-07, Lisle Memorial Day Parade Committee, and Lights of Lisle.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Naperville Sister Cities and is a member of the Voices of Faith Choir at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Naperville. He serves as the Head Usher for the DuPage Symphony Orchestra and ushers for the Paramount Theatre in Aurora and the Saints. Tom also serves as a substitute teacher for Dist. 203, Naperville.
