DuPage Symphony Orchestra Hosts Composer-in-Residence Michael Udow

Michael Udow, Composer

The DSO hosted Dr. Michael Udow as composer-in-residence for our March 19, 2022 concert, “Reflections.”   A tremendously versatile composer, Dr. Udow’s works include operas, symphonies, chamber music, and music for dance & theater.  In addition to his assistance with the DSO’s performance of his compelling “The Shattered Mirror Suite,” during his residency Dr. Udow also presented masterclasses and workshops for several DuPage county and Chicago area high schools and universities.  In recognition of his work as a performer, composer, educator, and author, Michael Udow has been selected as a 2022 inductee into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame.
