Downtown Naperville

DSO season concerts, performed in the acoustically wonderful and modern Wentz Hall, are truly a celebration of music.  Concert goers often elevate and enhance their DSO experience by taking advantage of the vibrant downtown Naperville scene.  Located at 171 E. Chicago Ave in Naperville, Wentz Hall is just blocks away from a plethora of dining options and Naperville’s scenic Riverwalk.

Among the many resources to help you plan your visit is a restaurant directory put together by the Downtown Naperville Alliance, who also publishes online guides for local hotels, shopping and events.

Naperville’s Riverwalk along the west branch of the DuPage River flows through the heart of downtown.  A pleasant stroll pre- or post-concert, the 1.75 mile Riverwalk features brick paths, fountains, bridges and recreational facilities as well as outdoor sculptures, artwork and memorials.

With all there is to see and do pre- and post-concert in downtown Naperville, you may worry about parking.  But don’t – there is ample parking within an easy walking distance including three free parking garages and on-street parking around the North Central College campus.

Free parking garages are located at:

  • Chicago (Central) Parking Facility – 65 E. Chicago Ave. – MAP
  • Van Buren Parking Facility – 43 W. Van Buren Ave. – MAP
  • Water Street Parking Facility – 130 Water St. – MAP
