The DSO is proud to partner with the Naperville Area Humane Society for this concert. Donations of dog and cat food will be accepted before the evenings program begins.

In conjunction with the North Central College Office of International Programs' continuing study of Globalization, the "electrifying" young cellist Jay Campbell presents the Ballad, Dance, and Fantasy by acclaimed Chinese-American composer Chen Yi. The concert concludes with one of the greatest masterpieces of the 20th century: the Suite from Stravinsky's The Firebird, which catapulted the previously unknown composer to international fame.

Acclaimed Chicago area soloists join the orchestra and chorus on stage.
