Transform Lives Through Music

Transform Lives Through Music This Giving Tuesday with the DuPage Symphony Orchestra

Bassoon soloist Eleni Katz inspires students at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville, IL, with her discussions around musicality, risktaking, and decision-making.

The DuPage Symphony Orchestra (DSO) invites you to join our mission this Giving Tuesday by helping us bring the transformative power of music to students across DuPage County and beyond.

Every year, the DSO partners with local schools to deliver world-class music education—entirely free of charge. Through professional musician performances, chamber group visits, and hands-on masterclasses, we reach over 1,500 students annually. These impactful experiences spark creativity, build confidence, and create lasting memories that inspire the next generation.

This Giving Tuesday, you can be part of this mission.

  • $6 inspires one student
  • $30 reaches five students
  • $300 transforms an entire classroom

Every donation directly supports bringing professional artists, workshops, and performances to students at no cost to their schools or educators. Your contribution ensures that students, regardless of resources, can experience the life-changing impact of music education.

“Music has the power to open doors, spark imaginations, and build connections,” said Mari Ullrick, Strategic Director of Operations and Engagement. “With your support this Giving Tuesday, we can ensure that these transformative experiences remain accessible to every student, regardless of their circumstances. Together, we can inspire a lifelong love of music in the next generation.”

With your support, the DSO can reach even more students, providing unparalleled opportunities to learn, grow, and create through music.
