Support the DSO

Donations to the DuPage Symphony Orchestra keep classical music alive in your community.

Ticket sales account for only 40% of the revenue needed to sustain the DSO; we require additional funding from corporations, grants and individuals like you to transform hearts, minds, and communities through music.

Your support helps:

  • Inspire people of all ages to develop an appreciation for music.

  • Provide real-life orchestral experiences for area students.

  • Create an outlet for talented musicians to share their passion of music with the community.

The DuPage Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed.

  • Gifts of Securities / Stock

  • Anyone past age 70 ½ who has to take Required Minimum Distributions each year from their Traditional IRA, 401k or 403b, can reap a tax savings by having part of (or all of) their RMD amount sent directly from their retirement plan account to the charity(ies) of their choosing.  This results in a dollar for dollar reduction of their taxable income and thus a direct tax savings based on their marginal tax rate, irrespective of whether they claim the Standard Deduction or have enough to itemize.
