We can’t wait to share the music with you this month! Join the DuPage Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, July 19 at 3:00 PM for a free summer concert celebrating the rich musical traditions of America.

Under the direction of Maestra Barbara Schubert, this free community concert features an engaging program of beloved American classics, including New England Triptych, American Spiritual Festival, Cowboy Fantasy, and Ashokan Farewell. From spirited folk melodies to sweeping western landscapes and heartfelt American traditions, this afternoon of music offers something for every listener.

Weather Update: Be sure to check the forecast before heading to the park and dress comfortably for an afternoon outdoors.

VIP perks include access to a reserved grassy seating area in the shade, a hydration station, and reserved front section bleacher seating if you prefer not to bring a lawn chair. If you’ve subscribed for the 2026-27 season by July 18, 2026, you’re on the list!

Concert Schedule

2:00 p.m. – Park opens for concertgoers. Feel free to picnic and find your favorite spot on the lawn!

2:00 p.m. – VIP section opens for DSO subscribers, board members, and invited guests.

2:15 p.m. – DSO Patron Services tent opens for subscriptions, questions, and VIP assistance.

3:00 p.m. – The concert begins! The performance runs approximately 90 minutes. You’re welcome to come and go throughout the afternoon.

We encourage everyone to bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket and settle in for a relaxing afternoon of live orchestral music.

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis around the park. Additional free Sunday parking is available in the Wheaton City Hall parking lot, located adjacent to the park at 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton.
