Lisa Sallstrom
Lisa Sallstrom has over 15 years of not-for-profit leadership experience as head of Credentialing, Membership and Education at the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) where she leads product and standards development, volunteer committee management, and both individual and corporate membership retention and engagement strategies. In her role, Sallstrom Coordinated two corporate mergers (Supply Chain Council and AST&L) to integrate certification business operations, align product management and development processes, and merge candidate databases while managing volunteer and staff role changes.
Previous to ASCM, Sallstrom served as Director of Certification for CompTIA, an IT trade association, where she had responsibility for global exam delivery operations, accreditation
compliance, staff development, and vendor relationships after completing 15+ years in the field of telecommunications as an employee of AT&T/Lucent Technologies.
Sallstrom has completed 2 3-year terms as a Board member for the Institute for Credentialing
Excellence (I.C.E.) where she held various leadership positions such as Secretary Treasurer,
Vice Chair, and Board Chair while also providing direction as a member of the finance and
governance committees for the organization.
Sallstrom holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology
and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music
from Valparaiso University. She also holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation
from ASAE and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from PMI.
