Mariachi Mosaic is a month-long celebration of music, literature, and community. From book discussions and writing workshops to student concerts and family-friendly performances, there’s something for everyone!

All events are supported by NEA’s Big Read Grant. NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.

Saturday Concert:

Mariachi Mosaic featuring our Young Artists Awards Winner, Cecilia O’Malley and Mariachi Acero de Las Vegas

6:45 PM – Pre-Concert Experience
• A presentation on the history of mariachi music, presented by the DuPage Hispanic Alliance
• Preludes and Interludes performance by Leman Middle School’s Mariachi Los Rayos
• Art exhibit featuring works by local Hispanic artists (in the lobby)

7:30 PM – Mariachi Mosaic Concert
The DuPage Symphony Orchestra joins forces with Mariachi Acero de Las Vegas, an electrifying 11-piece mariachi ensemble. The evening also features our 2026 Young Artists Auditions winner, Cecilia O’Malley, performing Korngold with the DSO for the first time in DuPage County. Wentz Concert Hall Arrival Tips

Entrance:
Please use the main Ellsworth Street doors to enter Wentz Hall.

Exit:
All patrons will exit via the Madden Lobby on Chicago Avenue.

For a speedy and safe turnaround, please follow this entry and exit protocol. 

Just turn right upon leaving the hall and follow the signs!

E-tickets (mobile or printed) are the fastest way to enter!

Will Call is in the alcove under the stairs. If you need assistance, please plan for long lines. If you would like to change your ticket to an e-ticket to avoid the line, please email patronservices@dupagesymphony.org by Wednesday, March 18th. 

If your mailed tickets have not arrived, email patronservices@dupagesymphony.org and we will send digital versions or hold your order at Will Call.

E-tickets are the way to go!

If you can no longer attend

Please email patronservices@dupagesymphony.org so we can release your seats to another individual. We are happy to provide a donation receipt for the ticket value. Unfortunately, there are no refunds.
