Are you searching for ways to align your business goals with your commitment to the arts in your community?
Music can enliven, unite, and uplift hearts and minds - qualities especially important in today’s stressful and uncertain times. For more than 65 years, the DuPage Symphony Orchestra – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization – has worked to inspire our communities through a commitment to musical excellence, education, and outreach. Your support can help bring the joy of music to the people in our area, enriching the lives of your employees, customers, suppliers, and neighbors.
While we recently made the difficult decision to suspend all our 2020-2021 concerts scheduled at Wentz Concert Hall due to COVID-19, we remain committed to bringing a full season of musical activities to our audiences. In re-imagining our season, we’ve adapted to share our music both virtually and in small group, socially-distanced live performances throughout the region. We have performed nine FREE outdoor events reaching over 1,300 in person plus nearly another 12,000 through live-streaming. We currently have four FREE indoor events planned for this winter and are working on securing more venues that will accommodate a limited in-person audience along with live-streaming capabilities.
We have also taken significant steps behind the scenes to strengthen the organization. A new, long range strategic plan is being implemented to address short-term challenges and grow the DSO’s community impact going forward. This includes increasing our concert and educational offerings, enhancing donor and sponsor experiences, strengthening our outreach to those with limited access to music, and building financial reserves to support long-term growth. A newly created task force is also working on initiatives to increase diversity both on stage and in our repertoire.
With no incoming ticket revenue this season, your generous support will help keep the DSO and the music in your community strong. The visibility and brand recognition your company will receive has the potential to reach those who attend our performances in person as well as virtually.
We have a variety of sponsorship opportunities available, starting at $125, and your benefits will start as soon as we receive your pledge commitment.
